In order to meet global target of carbon emission, automotive industries are radically changing. Millions of electric vehicles are now on roads, consequently, tones of end-of-life batteries will come out after decades. In comparison to the number of end-of-life batteries and market size of battery recycling industries in the near future, the development of technology is still lag behind and the players in this field are not enough. Thus, our group set our sight on developing advanced battery recycling technology using hydrometallurgical processes. Battery recycling technology definitely will occupy highly demanding part in battery industries.
